Educational Alliance for Semiconductor Experiential Learning (EASEL)

The EASEL Student Technical Development Workshops are designed to enhance technical knowledge, build practical skills, and connect students with professionals in the field, helping to prepare them for careers in the semiconductor industry.

The NY CREATES Student Technical Bootcamp is an interactive, hands-on learning experience designed to introduce students to semiconductor technology and advanced manufacturing. Held at NY CREATES in Albany, NY, this program provides students with direct access to cutting-edge research facilities, industry experts, and real-world semiconductor fabrication processes.

    State-of-the-art facilities with hands-on access to the latest in semiconductor technology.

Workshop Goals

  • Develop Technical Proficiency: Equip students with foundational skills in semiconductor fabrication and cleanroom protocols through hands-on training.

Workshop Structure

These workshops will use an in-person format to give participants firsthand exposure to the fab and sub-fab environments. Through augmented reality (AR) modules, faculty will engage in virtual tool operations and technical tasks while also participating in live demonstrations.
